| Newcastle ended Chelsea's hopes of the quadruple with a 1-0 victory at St James Park. Patrick Kluivert headed the winner after four minutes, but Jose Mourniho's decision to make three half-time changes backfired when Wayne Bridge was stretchered off with a suspected broken ankle straight after the restart. Damien Duff and William Gallas also picked up knocks and Carlo Cudicini saw red......hehe...so much for the quadruple dream!! ;p |
